Say what?

Why oh f…..g why can’t the BBC broadcast live video over the net of what’s going on in the world. Doc Searls had said it much more eloquently. I am tuned in constantly to Al Jazeera’s live feed. I would gladly pay the BBC’s license fee to stream BBC tv over the net -what is wrong with you people? This is not the time to cut service and retrench-you are missing the thread, it’s just a different world what don’t you understand?

I have never found it easy to read only one book at a time. I usually have at least 3 books on the go at once. So what’s being read?

• Mao – I bought this for Claire but she let me read it first. Half way through.
• The Donkey Walk – on a whim, nearly done.
• Profits and the Future of American Society – for god’s sake Levy re-issue this book!
• Karl Wiegers reqirements book – work. Over half way on the bus to work.
• Atul Gawande – Checklists – some light reading about errors. About to start.
• 4 hour body – Tim Ferris – picking away at it.

I have made several half hearted attempts at blogging – many went by the board even after I’d written a few things that I liked. Maybe this time I’ll keep it going, maybe …
